Towson returns home to face Central Penn Tuesday night

TOWSON, Md. – The Towson men’s basketball team will look to continue its impressive run of continuous home wins as the Tigers host Central Penn on Tuesday night inside SECU Arena.

Towson has won 10 straight games at home, the 21st longest home winning streak in the country. The Tigers have not lost at home since Jan. 23, 2013. 

Audio and video of the game will be available via the Towson Sports Network (TSN) with Spiro Morekasand Vince Angotti on the call.

The Tigers (6-4) are coming off a pair of losses to Stephen F. Austin (79-69) and Sam Houston State (67-55) in the Lumberjack Etech Classic this past weekend.

Senior Rafriel Guthrie led the Tigers in scoring in Texas, averaging 15.0 points while shooting 64.3 percent from the field. Sophomore Four McGlynn has started to heat up recently, recording two or more three-pointers made in each of his last four games.

Central Penn is a member of the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA). The Knights are currently 6-3 on the year, but fell to Radford (111-72) in their only meeting against a Division I school.Devon Dorsey had 30 points and eight rebounds in the game against Radford.
